Short answers for using and recovering your private vault.

Getting started

Can I explore before paying?

Yes. The public interactive demo uses fictional data and requires no account or payment card. A private vault becomes writable after you choose a membership. An unactivated identity draft expires after 48 hours.

Do I need an email?

No for product access. Stripe may collect billing contact information when you purchase a subscription.

Access and recovery

What should I save?

Keep the Quantum ID, Master Secret and Recovery Key securely. Store the Recovery Key separately from the Master Secret.

What happens if I lose everything?

Possessions cannot decrypt protected vault notes or restore access without either a working Master Secret or Recovery Key.

Locations

Can I enter a city or address?

Yes. Search a city, street or full address and select a result, or type the location fields manually. Search results are supplied by OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service.

What do exact, approximate and hidden mean?

Exact uses the selected coordinate. Approximate obscures the operational map point. Hidden does not show a point on the atlas. The original coordinate is also kept inside the encrypted Private Vault payload.

Cash flow and calendars

Is the forecast financial advice?

No. It is simple arithmetic based on your entries and does not account for tax, vacancies, currency conversion, financing or market changes unless you enter them.

What does Airbnb import?

Only calendar dates and basic event labels available in the private iCalendar feed. Importing the feed does not connect your Airbnb account.

Documents, export and deletion

Encrypted documents and photos can be attached from a possession’s detail view. A complete user-initiated export includes decrypted notes and files, so the downloaded export must be stored securely. Open Membership inside the vault to reach Stripe billing management. To erase the vault and linked attachments, use Delete vault and confirm the Quantum ID. Cancel an active subscription before deletion.
